Friday Night Dec 10 and 17th, The Middle Shuswap Wild Salmon Society and Mirage Recordings will be doing a Live recording of The Mabel Lickers Band, CrossFire, The Rippin Rattlers, The Noise (formally Get Back) and others at the Blue Ox Pub in Lumby. A compilation CD will be made from this event, and the live recordings at the 2010 Wild Salmon Festival, and sold as a fundraiser for the society.

To create more awareness about the Wild Salmon in the middle Shuswap River and the local watershed.
To develop the knowledge base and communicate this effectively to improve our community’s ability to make smart choices in the watershed and work towards becoming a Wild Salmon Stronghold.
The Society will achieve these purposes by:
Presenting a Wild Salmon Music Festival to raise awareness and connect people to the fish ladder development and accelerated completion. www.WildSalmonFest.com
Create and support events and initiatives that will raise awareness and improve the habitat for the local Wild Salmon.
